David initially spent 12 years in Bank of Ireland Retail in a number of senior product and marketing roles across Consumer credit, Deposit & Savings as well as Market Planning & Strategy. In 2007, he joined Danske Bank’s Irish operation to head up their marketing and product development function leading out the launch of disruptive credit and digital savings products. David re-joined Bank of Ireland Group in 2011 as Head of Marketing for their Private Banking division and he also led the marketing and analytics for Business Banking and Enterprise focusing on the development of the Bank’s support of SMEs. David then led the deployment of Bank of Ireland Life’s digital platforms including the award-winning Life online which uniquely enables customers to engage with their wealth and banking products in the one place, as well as various online wealth sales propositions. In 2017, David moved to the Energy sector where he has taken up the role of Head of Marketing at Pinergy where he leads out all marketing, sponsorships, digital and communications for the leading disruptor in the energy sector. He holds a BComm from UCD, is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), is a Qualified Marketer from MII (Ireland) and holds a certificate in Disruption Strategy with Harvard Business School.
