Kate Van Straume

Kate is a hotelier with 10 years of experience specializing in marketing analytics. She worked with Starwood and Marriott hotels in Georgia, Singapore and now Ireland. Currently, Kate is leading the marketing team for the MHL Hotel Collection and there are 10 hotels in her cluster including Hilton and Marriott hotels. She works closely with Google, Revinate and web developers around the world to keep researching and consulting hotels on further steps and strategies. She is also finishing her PhD research about the consumer behaviour, from generational aspect, which is extremely relevant considering behaviour patterns have changed between different generations, especially millennials.

Kate is developing a project with tourism authorities and hotels in Caucasus region to increase their destination awareness in Western and Northern Europe as well as China.
